From David Wendes:- "The Ropner steamer Danby, later renamed Derna, was run down and sunk in collision with the British battleship HMS Centurion on 10 December 1912.  There were no survivors.  Wreck lies in position 50° 27.22' north, 002° 00.28' west. Both vessels were steaming at night on broadly the same heading, the smaller ship being struck and run over by the 23000 ton displacement Centurion.  The Derna was identified as such by marks on her port hand navigation lamp, which was found lying on Centurion's starboard net platform."
