  (ARAB and GAUL - yard no. 1004 - were part of the British Expeditionary forces assisting Norway against the German invasion, providing anti-submarine protection for troopships. However, after the Germans held Trondheim the trawlers were involved in evacuating troops and GAUL was bombed in Namsenfjord. ARAB's master was given the V.C. for rescuing trawler crews during the bombing.)
